Moved on to a new couchsurfing spot wayyy down on 74th and Powell.
We're still looking for a long term place to stay, something like a sublet. There have been a few a-spied but nothing confirmed yet.
Anywho, back to the new couch surfing spot. Our host goes by the name of Jordan and is pretty enthusiastic about couchsurfing. His room mates are pretty chill too. The household actually has a pretty tight schedule of surfers coming through so we'll be out on the 23rd.
So yeah, we hung out around the house for a bit and then go on the road to down town. Our friends Clare and Andrew were involved in a music/experimental sound thing and so we're gonna check it out.

The bike ride back was killer.
Also, there was a lunar eclipse going on, which is really rad considering that it is winter solstice too, but alas, there were too many clouds.

Registered for a medical study in Tacoma. If I get in I get a solid grand and I'll be able to keep this trip moving for a good while longer. Surprisingly, they called me back within an hour and gave me some info on whether I could qualify or not.
I'll think on it...
Went by City Bike for a spare tube. They have some pretty fairly priced second-hand parts too.
Got a call about one of the rooms to sublet, I imagine we'll take it.
Later I gave Charles River (the medical study place) a call back and decided to get the ball rolling on this. So I have a screening scheduled for the 28th at 9am. So if it's a 3 hour drive to Tacoma I'll get to get up at 5:30 at least...boo
Went to the library and then met up with Jordan at a cafe called Backspace.
WE went on to Helium for some stand up comedy, then $2 pints at Eastburn.

Went by Citizen Photo to get some prices on negative scanning. While I was in the shop I noticed they have 3 4x5 view cameras, each under $100 and one for $50! Albeit none of them had lenses and I think 2 didnt have a ground glass or lensboard but hell, still a good deal.
Biked down the Esplanade, went to Stumptown and the food carts.
Later we biked up to Alberta to hang out with Molly, Madelines roomie.
It's her birfday and stuff.

The bike ride back to 74th was epic. I think I biked at least 20 miles, total, today.

Renting the new room today!
Moved some stuff in.
Later, went to Powells and then to Rocco's bar.
We played the hell out of Photohunt and set some new records.
